Family trip to Flaming Gorge, Sept. 2010 - 1st Day

Jesse & DaNell planned this trip for our family to get together at Flaming Gorge this year. DaNell's family has a trailer in Manilla, and we camped on the grass out there. It was so much fun for the kids, big and little to get together and play and talk and fish and play somemore. Much needed vacation for all of us. And for the most part the weather was really nice.

Everyone is trying out the tree swing...that was a favorite with the kids. They could not wait for thier turn on it. Addie & Cora waiting for their turn, while Jake and Clay played on it.

I brought out some crafts for the kids to play with until MaryAnn & Bryant got there with Jesse's kids. Kids just love to do crafts, they made some pretty cool stick things. And then Scott was able to just sit back and relax for a few minutes.

DaNell showing off her fish that they got in the morning while we where driving. Nice fish! We did most of the cooking in Dutch Ovens outside. Love cooking outside. We made Lasugna the first night. And we let the old kids make a dessert each night in the Dutch Ovens. They really liked that too.

Started to gather things around, and get the tents set up. That is not my favorite thing to do, set up a tent. Lucky for me, that my kids helped their Dad get it set up. It was a tent city on the lawn after we all got our tents set up.

Ours was the big blue on, then MaryAnn & Bryant's, Jake and Clay, and the Addie & Cora even got their own tent. (Addie, Blajyn and Sam)
